At an early age Ray noticed the Church did not have a cross in it and wondered why. Wasn’t it a good thing that Jesus died on the cross? He began to ask more questions but did not get answers.

In high school he rejected the teachings of the Church, since no one wanted to answer his questions and if they did they weren’t real answers. Rebellion set in.

As an adult he was invited to a church and challenged to read the Bible. As he read, he saw the inconsistencies between what he had been taught and what the Bible said.
